This course is ideal for learners who have had little or no previous experience with computers but want to further improve their IT skills.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Install programmes from the internet on a hard disk
- Install or run software applications from a CD-ROM disk.
- Reboot the PC
- Create a password for your PC to protect information
- Know the inside of your computer
- How to change PC general settings
- Defragment Hard drives
- Clean up computer file clutter
- Change the way files look
Course Structure:
Students will use PCs to practice online. Presentations will be made using interactive whiteboards and printed notes from online material. Class discussions will be held to help students grasp complex concepts.
